This beautiful woman is beginning the battle of her life……the batter FOR her life.
Recently diagnosed with breast cancer, she bravely faces chemo treatments in order to slay the beast inside her and preserve her life.
We decided to do a very special photo session with her 9-year-old son before the chemo brings on the inevitable changes. My sincere hope and deepest desire is that these images will sustain her through the tough days and remind her why she’s fighting. I tried to catch them in every-day moments like walking through a park, telling a secret, and playing with the first fall leaves.
Next week, she will cut her hair short. Soon after that, she won’t have any at all. It’s a small price to pay for saving your life and when you look at that little boy, you’ll see why the decision to fight was so very easy to make. I was honored to capture these images for them.
